In Honor Of #TBT We’re Bringing This Monochrome Look Back For Another Spin
The first day of Fall was Wednesday, September 23rd. It’s Thursday, September 24th and we’re already thinking about winter fashion. What? There’s nothing wrong with a little style forecasting. Sumptuous textures and a revival of the 70s is what’s hot right now, fast forward a few months and we’ll be piling on the layers, most times chic, sometimes not, the cold weather tends to have that affect on you. But, if you’re curious as to how we’ll be keeping things cute, come December, faux-fur stoles, wool flares and a cropped Karen Walker shearling is how we’re living. As for this look, I really wanted to step into this metallic skirt and the only way I could do it without freezing my limbs off, was by pulling on three pairs of opaque tights—it worked. The mink stole is vintage and the tweed coat is by Sandro. I deliberately went tonal, varying shades of grey from head to toe. There’s a moment where I ditch the coat to reveal the full fit inside, it’s very short-lived so don’t blink when scrolling through or you’ll miss it.
