We figured we’d do you a solid and make those endless hours spent researching dream destinations a bit easier by rounding up a list of the Top 10 Countries and Cities trending for 2015. Whether it’s way across the sea on the other end of the globe, or right in your backyard, some pretty attractive options made our list. See for yourself.
Food, adventure, shopping, and breathtaking sights, the Kingdom of Morocco has it all. Start your travels at Chefchaouen, a blue-washed mountain village originally built as a fortress in the 15th Century, and marvel over the distinctive palette consistent throughout the hilly town. Shop for spices, textiles and hand-woven treasures, and when you’re done, satisfy your appetite with local eats. You can’t visit Morocco and not get your Aladdin on, riding through the Sahara Desert on a camel, rocking a snazzy straw fedora. But, if you’re not one for dry heat and hot sand, Cascades D’Ouzoud, Morocco’s famous waterfalls should do it for you. The best time to visit is during the afternoon, you’ll catch rainbows in the distance—pitch a tent, barbecue and stay the night.
Good taste is undeniable when it comes to Milan. Whether it be the upscale fashion sense signature to Milanese women, or the city’s fine cuisine, what looks good is good in Milano. 4) RIO DE JANIERO
It’s only right that we have the home to one of the Seven Wonders of the world on this list. Rio de Janeiro, the second largest city in Brasil, is famous for their beaches, music, rich culture, futbol team, handsome natives and the Christ The Redeemer statue, one of the 10 most famous Jesus statues on the planet. We don’t think we need more to persuade you about this one. Don’t let the crime and 2014 World Cup shenanigans dissuade you from visiting. Shit happens everywhere, just be careful.
5) RIGA, LATVIA
Riga is the answer if a vibrant cultural scene is what you fancy when globetrotting. Not only is it the largest, most diverse city of the Baltic states, Riga has the most colossal center for tourism in the world. Most admired for its art nouveau architecture, the Central Market, Riga Castle, City Canal and Holocaust Memorial are other must-sees.
Tourism development is happening in Bali at rapid speeds but the city has still managed to keep their core civilization in tact. Bali is the go-to destination if you are looking for peace and stillness within, think Julia Roberts Eat, Pray Love. Serene views and affordable luxury are a plus, the real magic lies in the transformative powers of the island. It’s magical, visit as soon as you can.
As the most popular city in the land down unda,’ it’s imperative you take a trip to Sydney. Sydney is a destination that offers balance, keep things chill or turn all the way up, and in between be sure to visit the city’s world-renowned Opera House, one of the continent’s most iconic buildings. 8) NEW ORLEANS
There’s no doubt about it, N’orleans, the home of Jazz, is one of the best places to go in the US if you’re looking for a good time. The streets are roaring with culture from the French District to the cajun spices and delicious crawfish. And in the event you’re planning on visiting soon, Mardi Gras falls on February 17, 2015 so get to planning. What happens in NOLA, stays in NOLA. Stuff will happen in NOLA.

10) CAPE COD
The All-American travel destination, Cape Cod, is straight out of a movie. There’s literally so much to do, but number one on your list should be visiting the beach! Cape Dennis is home to 16 beautiful beaches on the Nantucket Sound side and one beach sticker gives you access to all of them. Rent a bike if you’re not into the soft sand thing, and ride along the boardwalk. Whatever you do, be sure to have lunch at a restaurant in town and treat yourself to a lobster roll.
